Avi Bortnick has worked as a professional acoustical consultant for 26 years, with extensive experience in all aspects of building and environmental acoustics — venue and club acoustics, sound isolation, exterior noise studies, mechanical noise control, and vibration control — for hundreds of projects throughout the world.
He is on the New York City DEP list of Approved Noise Consultants, and has worked both independently and with Arup and Shen Milsom & Wilke. He is also an adjunct professor of architectural acoustics at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design.
